Columbia school bus involved in crash near Midway
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
No injuries were reported Thursday afternoon after a Columbia Public Schools bus was involved in a multi-vehicle crash.
The crash occurred on Highway 40 near Rollingwood Boulevard in the Midway area. Gale Blomenkamp, of the Boone County Fire Protection District, and CPS spokeswoman Michelle Baumstark told ABC 17 News that there were no injuries.
Eight students were on the bus at the time of the crash, Baumstark wrote in an email. The car that hit the school bus also hit another vehicle, Baumstark wrote. A person in the third vehicle was checked out by first responders as a precaution, Baumstark wrote.
Boone County Joint Communications had sent a notification about the crash at 3:04 p.m.
