Teenaged driver seriously injured in Pulaski County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 17-year-old girl from Dixon, Missouri, was seriously injured Sunday in a crash on Highway 28 in Pulaski County, a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report says.

The report says a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe was heading westbound when it went off the left side of the road, became airborne, hit a mailbox and overturned several times.

The girl was wearing a seatbelt, the statement says. She was brought to Phelps Health by ambulance, the report says.
