Eldon man dies from injuries suffered in crash involving Miller County deputy

MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An Eldon man has died from injuries he suffered in a crash that involved a Miller County deputy, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol spokesman and crash report.

A 26-year-old pedestrian was hit on Nov. 21 on Highway 17, north of Tuscumbia, according to the crash report. The crash report says the man was pronounced dead on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

 MSHP spokesman Kyle Green told ABC 17 News in an email that the patrol is investigating the crash.

The crash report says that a 25-year-old man from Tuscumbia was driving a 2024 Ford Explorer. The pedestrian was hit in the center of the highway, the report says. The pedestrian was flown to University Hospital.
