Tuscumbia woman seriously injured in Miller County crash

TUSCUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Tuscumbia woman was seriously injured in a UTV crash on Monday at a residence in the 200 block of Crow Road in Tuscumbia, a Missouri State Highway Patrol report says.

The report says a 36-year-old Tuscumbia man drove a 2016 Polaris Ranger into a field, hit a rut and the vehicle overturned. A 42-year-old woman had serious injuries and was flown the University Hospital, the report says.

The man had minor injuries and was brought to Capital Region Hospital in Jefferson City by ambulance, the release says. Neither person in the vehicle was wearing a safety device, the report says. The vehicle had moderate damage.
