Business Loop 70 reopens after crash at Providence Road intersection

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Business Loop 70 in Columbia near the Providence Road intersection closed on Tuesday night after a crash.

Cameras showed traffic was stalled in both directions. Eastbound traffic started moving again at 7:25 p.m. The scene cleared by 7:45 p.m.

Boone County Joint Communications sent a pair of notifications about the crash at 7:08 p.m. One of the notifications stated drivers should use caution and avoid the area, if possible.

ABC 17 News has reached out to the Columbia Police Department.
