Motorcyclist dies from injuries after Cole County crash

RUSSELLVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Russellville man who was injured in a Cole County crash on Monday afternoon has died.

Sgt. Kyle Green with the Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed Wednesday that James Ogden, 63, died from his injuries.

Ogden was taken to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries after the crash on Payne Road, north of Route A in Russellville.

Troopers said Ogden was driving his 2005 Harley Davidson Electraglide when a 16-year-old driving a pickup truck failed to stay in the right half of the road and struck Odgen's motorcycle.

According to the crash report, Ogden was not wearing a helmet.
