Camdenton man seriously injured in Cole County crash

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Camdenton man was seriously injured Monday morning in a crash on Highway 54 in Cole County, west of Pleasant Hill Road, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The report states that Adam Morgan, 22, was driving a 2007 Cadillac CTS on westbound Highway 54 when he overcorrected to the right and caused the vehicle to slide off the roadway. The Cadillac then hit a log, a tree and overturned on its left side, the report says.

Morgan was brought to University Hospital by ambulance. He was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries, the report states.

The Cadillac was totaled.
