Ludlow woman seriously injured in Chariton County crash

CHARITON COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Ludlow woman was seriously injured early Monday in a crash in Chariton County on Highway 11, about a mile south of Mendon, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The report says a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer was totaled after the driver – Jacey Mohr, 37 – suffered a “medical event.” The vehicle was heading southbound when it went off the left side of the road, hit two utility poles and overturned.

Mohr was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries, while her two passengers – a 14-year-old girl and 11-year-old boy from Brunswick – were brought to University Hospital in a private vehicle, the report says.

All three people in the vehicle were wearing seatbelts.
