Bridgeton man arrested after getting seriously injured in Ralls County crash

RALLS COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Bridgeton man was arrested after he was seriously injured in a crash in Ralls County early Saturday morning.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Preston Glass, 32, was driving northbound on Highway 61, just south of Hannibal, in a 2007 Dodge 2500 truck at 1:02 a.m. Saturday.

The report states the Dodge went off the left side of the road and into a median and became airborne before flipping over. Glass was ejected from the truck.

Glass was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries. The report states he was not wearing a seatbelt.

An arrest report states Glass was arrested by Troop F in Boone County on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, not having insurance, not wearing a seatbelt, showing plates of another, reckless driving involving a crash and failure to have an ignition interlock device. Charges haven't appeared on Casenet

The report indicates he was still receiving treatment at the hospital at the time of the arrest.
