12-year-old boy flown to hospital after getting injured in Miller County UTV crash

MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 12-year-old St. Elizabeth boy who was driving a UTV in Miller County suffered serious injuries Friday in a crash on Kemna Bridge Road, east of Washington Street.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol report states the crash occurred as the boy failed to negotiate a curve while heading eastbound in a 2018 Honda Pioneer UTV. The boy overcorrected and the vehicle went off the right side of the road, hit an embankment and overturned, the report states.

The boy was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries. The UTV had moderate damage, according to the report.
