Man suffers serious injuries in Camden County crash

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Halfway, Missouri, man suffered serious injuries early Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash in Camden County in the southbound lane of Highway 73, about 422 feet south of Pennington Drive, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash report states that a 2008 Infiniti G35 – driven by Cody Battles, 21 – went off the right side of the road and Battles overcorrected. The vehicle then went off the left side of the road, hit a ditch, overturned, hit two trees and came back to the roadway, the report states.

Battles was not wearing a seatbelt, the report states. He was brought to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance.

A hospital spokesperson told ABC 17 News in an email that Battles was treated and released on Thursday.
