MSHP report: 3-year-old boy dies after getting hit by truck
CHARITON COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A 3-year-old boy died after he was hit by a truck on Sunday on private property on Route C in Chariton County, about 10 miles southwest of Marceline, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
The name of the boy was not released in the report. The report states the boy ran into the path of a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 – driven by Justin Henke, 41, of Salisbury -- that was heading eastbound.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene by the Chariton County coroner, the report states.
