Woman seriously injured in Cole County crash on Saturday

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 43-year-old Dixon woman suffered serious injuries Saturday in a crash in the westbound lanes of Highway 54 at Route D, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred when a 2011 Ford Taurus – driven by Tiffany Steen – was driving south on Route D and pulled into the path of a 2014 Toyota Prius, the report states. The Prius was driven by Diane Fallon, 32, of Fulton.

Fallon had minor injuries but did not go to a hospital, according to the report. Steen was brought to University Hospital by ambulance. Both vehicles were totaled, the report states.
