Two men injured in Miller County crash

ELDON, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two men were injured – one seriously – in a Thursday crash in Eldon on East North Street at North Sandfort Street, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash occurred when a 1999 Toyota Camry – driven by Kenneth Baxter, 38, of Clarksburg – was heading westbound, crossed the centerline and hit a 2012 Ford 150 head-on, according to the report. The Ford was driven by James Baslee, 47, of Eldon.

According to the report, Baxter was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries. He was brought to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance. Baslee was wearing a seatbelt and had minor injuries, the report states. He was brought to Capital Region Hospital by ambulance.

The Toyota was totaled, while the Ford had extensive damage, according to the report.
