Kaiser man killed in Miller County crash Sunday night

ELDON, Mo. (KMIZ)

One person was killed in a crash in Miller County Sunday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to the crash report, Jeffrey D. Ballew, 61, of Kaiser was driving South on Blue Springs Drive near Wedgewood Road in Miller County at 10:20 p.m.

Troopers said Ballew was the only person in his 1999 Oldsmobile eighty-eight when he drove across the road's center line. The car went off the left side and hit a utility pole.

According to the crash report, Ballew was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
