Harrisburg woman seriously injured in Boone County crash

EDITOR'S NOTE: The highway where the crash happened has been corrected.

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Harrisburg woman suffered serious injuries in a Wednesday crash in the northbound lane of Route E, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The report states that Stephanie Hall, 40, was driving too fast for conditions in her 2013 Ford Focus. The vehicle went off the right side of the road traveled down an embankment and hit several trees, the report states.

Hall suffered serious injuries, while a 2-year-old Harrisburg girl sustained minor injuries, the report states. Both were brought to University Hospital in Columbia by ambulance, the report states.

Hall was not wearing a seatbelt and the girl was in a car seat, the report states. The Ford was totaled.
