Two people ejected from ATV in Miller County; One airlifted to University Hospital

MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two people were injured in Miller County when their ATV overturned Friday.

James Brumgard Jr., 56, was airlifted to the University of Missouri after the ATV he was driving overturned ejecting him and his passenger, 26-year-old Dustin Hurst.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the accident happened when Brumgard was making a left turn. The 1999 Polaris Sportsman 500 then overturned, ejecting both occupants.

According to the report, neither Brumgard nor Hurst had any safety devices on.

Brumgard suffered serious injuries, while Hurst was released on scene.
