Ashland man accused of DWI after Sunday morning crash
ASHLAND, Mo. (KMIZ)
An Ashland man has been treated and released from an area hospital after he was in a suspected DWI crash early Sunday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Ethan Lammers, 21, of Ashland was arrested by troopers before he was released for medical treatment after a crash at 12:45 a.m. on Sunday.
The crash happened on Route A north of Lammers Lane near Hartsburg.
Troopers said Lammers was driving northbound on route A in a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe when he failed to navigate a turn and drove off the right side of the road and hit a telephone pole.
Lammers was arrested by troopers on accusations of "driving while influenced with a prior, failure to maintain the right half of road when the road is of sufficient width resulting in a crash and not wearing a seat belt."
He was taken to University Hospital with serious injuries. MU Health Care said as of 10:45 a.m. on Monday Lammers had been treated and released.
No formal charges have been filed yet.
