MONITEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 36-year-old Hannibal woman on a two-wheeled "hoverboard" suffered serious injuries in a Moniteau County crash on Friday, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The report states the crash occurred on Osage Street at East Morgan Street.

According to the report, a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee – driven by Marleen Lenger, 59, of Tipton -- was stopped at a stop sign on Osage street.

Jeneta Drebes was on the board heading westbound on the sidewalk on the south side of Morgan Street. The Jeep went into the intersection as Drebes moved forward from a stop sign and ran over Drebes, according to the report.

Drebes was brought to University Hospital by ambulance, according to the report. She was not wearing a helmet. An MU Health Care spokesperson said in an email later on Friday that Drebes was in fair condition. The hoverboard was reported as totaled, according to the report.
