PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Dixon woman was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in Pulaski County on Highway 28 at the Veterans Bridge, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash occurred as a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado – driven by Lucas Gann, 40, of St. Robert – was heading eastbound and hit a 2020 Kia Soul head-on, the report states. The Kia was driven by Rose Carter.

Carter was pronounced dead by the Pulaski County coroner, according to the report. She was 67. The report states she was wearing a seatbelt. Carter was then brought to Waynesville Memorial Chapel.

Gann suffered serious injuries and was flown to University Hospital. He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.

Both vehicles were totaled.
