Kansas City man seriously injured in Cooper County crash

BUNCETON, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 31-year-old man from Kansas City, Kansas, suffered a serious injury Tuesday in a one-vehicle crash in Cooper County on Route O at the intersection with Pisgah Road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash occurred when Christian Quintero-Valasquez failed to negotiate a left curve in his 2013 Nissan Juke, which then went off the right side of the road and overturned, the report states. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was brought to University Hospital by ambulance.

The Nissan was totaled.
