Kentucky man seriously injured in Morgan County crash

VERSAILLES, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Knifley, Kentucky, man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash Saturday on Route W about 1,000 feet south of Marvin Cutoff in Morgan County.

The crash occurred when a 2006 Harley Davidson – driven by Daniel Reed, 41 – was heading southbound on Route W when it hit a stick in the road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. The Harley went off the right side of the road, overturned and ejected Reed.

Reed was brought to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by ambulance. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the crash report.
