Paris man dies in motorcycle crash
COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)
A Paris man was hit and killed in a crash on St. Charles Road, Saturday afternoon.
48-year-old Cory Peterson was driving a motorcycle heading south on St. Charles Road while the driver of the second vehicle was heading north. While turning a corner, Peterson crossed into northbound traffic crashing into the second vehicle.
Peterson was wearing a helmet and sustained life-threatening injuries at the scene. He was transported by EMS to a local hospital where he later died. The driver of the second vehicle was wearing a seatbelt and was not hurt.
According to Columbia Police, this is still an ongoing investigation and more information may be available at a later time.
