Colorado man seriously injured in Morgan County crash

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Bayfield, Colorado, man suffered serious injuries Wednesday in a one-vehicle crash on Ivy Bend Road at Proctor Road in Morgan County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash occurred as a 2003 Ford F250 – driven by Aason Sauer, 41 -- was traveling fast and went off the right side of the road. Sauer overcorrected and then went off the left side of the road and overturned several times, according to the crash report.

Sauer was flown to University Hospital. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
