BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A crash has slowed traffic on westbound Interstate 70 near the Boone/Callaway County line.

Boone County Joint Communication is reporting that drivers should use caution and avoid the area if possible.

Cpl. Kyle Green, with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, confirmed it was a motorcycle crash.

Our crew member reports seeing one person is hurt and is awaiting.
