Four injured after two-vehicle crash in Callaway County

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Four people are injured after a two-vehicle crash on Route WW on Wednesday afternoon in Callaway County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Erynn Knight, 18, of Fulton, was driving a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am and pulled out from a private drive in front of a 2007 Jeep Liberty on Route WW.

The crash report indicates that Knight was inattentive and failed to yield to oncoming traffic.

It is unknown if Knight and her 16-year-old passenger were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The passenger reportedly had minor injuries.

The driver of the Liberty, Sierra Merritt, 19, was wearing her seatbelt and so was her 6-year-old passenger. Merritt reportedly had minor injuries. The passenger had moderate injuries.

All four are from Fulton and all four were taken to University Hospital for treatment.
