Columbia man seriously hurt after morning wreck on Highway 22 in Boone County

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Columbia man was seriously hurt Monday morning after a wreck on Highway 22 west of Route 7 in Boone County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Brent Moeller, 41, was driving a 2005 Ford Focus when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and down an embankment.

The vehicle then went through a field, hit a fence and then went through another field before hitting a treeline and coming to a rest.

Moeller was wearing a seatbelt.

Moeller was taken by EMS to Boone Hospital for treatment.
