Five injured after three vehicle wreck in Morgan County

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Five people were injured, one seriously, after a three vehicle wreck on Highway 52 in Morgan County at 1:40 p.m. on Thursday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report states that Anne Kirchhofer, 81, of Stover, was driving a 2014 Dodge Dart and approached a 2011 Ford F-350 at a high rate of speed before swerving into oncoming westbound traffic on Highway 52.

The Dart then was driven back into the eastbound lane and hit the rear of the F-350. The Dart then went off the roadway, before returning and crossing over into westbound traffic and hit a 2012 Nissan Juke head-on

The driver of the Dart was reported to have moderate injuries according to the crash report. A passenger, Eldon Vandyke, 74, of Stover, in the Dart reported having minor injuries.

The driver of the F-350, Wayne Cleveland, 45, of Tipton, reported having minor injuries.

The driver of the Juke, 55-year-old Lisa Davidson, of Versailles, was seriously injured in the crash. The crash report indicates she was not wearing a seat belt. The 11-year-old passenger with Davidson reported having minor injuries.

All of the others involved in the crash were wearing seat belts.
