Missouri State Highway Patrol reporting wreck on Highway 124

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash on Highway 124 at Dodd Road in Boone County.

According to a tweet, troopers are investigating it as an injury crash.

An ABC 17 News crew on scene reports troopers saying one person has died.

Troopers are asking drivers to avoid the area and find an alternate route.

Boone County Joint Communications is reporting Highway 124 is back open after being closed for close to three hours.
