One dead, one seriously injured after wreck on Route TT in Camden County

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri State Highway Patrol is reporting one person is dead after a one-vehicle crash on Route TT near Crane Cove Drive in Camden County.

Troopers report a 2007 Ford Fusion crossed the center of the road and then skidded before traveling off the ride side of the road and hitting a tree.

The driver, Brandon Broswell, 26, of Camdenton, was taken to Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries.

The passenger, John Johnston, 36, of Sunrise Beach was pronounced dead by the Camden County medical examiner.

Both men were not wearing a seatbelt.

This is Troop F's 12 fatality in January.
