Alabama man injured after wreck in Pettis County

PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Gulf Shores, Alabama man was seriously injured after a crash on Rattlesnake Hill Road in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Charles Dodd, 70, was driving a 2012 Suzuki DR-650 motorcycle over a hill and the motorcycle started to skid before overturning and ejecting Dodd.

Officials report Dodd ended up in a ditch on the west side of the road.

Dodd was flown to University Hospital and is reported to be in fair condition.

Dodd was not wearing a safety device.
