Glasgow man dies after crashing into tree

GLASGOW, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Glasgow man has died after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a tree on Route V, one mile east of County Road 271.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Gary Fuemmeler, 64, was driving a 2013 Toyota Prius when it veered off the road and hit a tree.

Fuemmeler was taken to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead by a doctor.

This is Troop F's third fatality for October and 48 for 2021.
