Teenager treated for serious injuries after crash in Osage County

OSAGE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A teenager from Linn, Missouri was treated for serious injuries Friday morning after a rollover crash in Osage County.

The single-vehicle crash happened just before 3:30 a.m. on Highway 89 north of the Highway 50 intersection, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the 17-year-old boy drove a pickup truck off of the side of Highway 89 and was thrown from the vehicle after the truck flipped over.

The teen was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of his injuries.

According to the crash report, the teen wasn't wearing a seat belt.

Troopers said the pickup truck was totaled in the crash.
