Motorcycle driver seriously injured after wreck in Morgan County Thursday afternoon

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A motorcycle driver was seriously injured Thursday afternoon after wreck in Morgan County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Tyler Stewart, 20, of Versailles, was driving a 2007 Yamaha R1 eastbound on Anchorage Road when it went off the roadway. The motorcycle hit a barbed wire fence and Stewart was thrown from the bike.

Stewart was flown by MU Air to University Hospital for treatment to his injuries.

Stewart was wearing a helmet according to the crash report.
