Man airlifted to hospital after three-wheeler goes airborne in Miller County

MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man from Rolla was seriously injured in a crash Thursday night.

Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports say Cody White, 30, was riding a 1984 Honda 200S southbound on Boeckman Bridge Road.

After passing Cherry Blossom Road in Miller County, White went off the left side of the road, hit the ground, went airborne, flipped over, and finally hit a barbed wire fence.

Troopers said White was driving too fast for conditions. He was thrown from the three-wheeler in the crash and seriously injured.

A helicopter transported White to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. A hospital spokesperson told ABC 17 News he was in fair condition Friday morning.

Troopers said he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
