Woman sustains serious injuries from Tuesday night Miller County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A woman from St. Roberts, Missouri, was taken to University Hospital in Columbia after a single-car crash in Miller County Tuesday night.

Shaelynne Wilson, 29, was driving along Sequoia Road about a quarter-mile north of Highway 17 when her car ran off the side of the road, hit several trees, and overturned into a creek.

Wilson was driving a 2008 Pontiac G5 northbound around 9 p.m. in Miller County when the crash occurred. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the Pontiac G5 was totaled.

Troopers said Wilson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and sustained serious injuries.

She was taken to the University of Missouri Hospital by Miller County EMS. Hospital officials told ABC 17 News Wilson was treated and released.
