Five women hurt in pedestrian crash south of Moberly

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Five women were transported to University Hospital in Columbia after a crash on Highway 63 Sunday night.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports, four women were standing in the median about two miles south of Moberly after their Ford Taurus hit a deer. The car was stalled in the northbound passing lane.

Marin Tadrus, 18, was driving in a different car northbound when she hit the Taurus shortly after 10 p.m., pushing it into the median where it hit the four other women.

Tadrus and two of the pedestrians suffered serious injuries in the crash. Two others suffered moderate injuries. A helicopter was called in to airlift one of the crash victims for treatment.

University Hospital spokesman Eric Maze told ABC 17 that Lise was in fair condition as of Monday morning. Maze included that Tadrus and Langley were both treated and released from the hospital.

The spokesman said the hosptial didn't have any information on the the other two women.
