WINTER WEATHER UPDATES: Crews respond to multiple wrecks in Mid-Missouri
Emergency crews responded to multiple crashes in Mid-Missouri Wednesday morning including one that closed a lane of Interstate 70 East.

MoDOT said in a tweet that one lane of the interstate was back open near the Stadium Boulevard exit after a multi-vehicle crash was reported at 10:42 a.m. The department's website said it could cause delays for the next hour.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Columbia police briefly blocked off the interstate because of the crash.
State troopers also responded crashes around the area.

A tweet from the Highway Patrol listed two crashes in Boone County and one other in Cole County.
It wasn't immediately clear if anyone was hurt in any of the wrecks.
Crash closes Highway 54 in Camden County
The Missouri Department of Transportation said a Wednesday morning crash closed a portion of Highway 54.
A tweet from MoDOT said the eastbound lanes of the highway are closed in Osage Beach near Case Road.

The department's online traffic map said the closure could last for up to two hours. It asked drivers to use an alternate route around the area.
Crews did not immediately say how many vehicles were involved. A Facebook post from the Osage Beach Police Department said no one was hurt in the wreck.
It's unclear if winter weather played a role in the crash. Snowfall started in time for Wednesday's morning commute. The Lake of the Ozarks area was the first area in Mid-Missouri hit with snow.
State troopers responded to the crash to help with traffic, MSHP Troop F spokesman Cpl. Kyle Green said. The highway patrol also tweeted about other crashes and slide-offs troopers were called to on Wednesday.
