WEATHER CONDITION UPDATES: Multiple crashes called out across Columbia

A Missouri state trooper and a bystander pulled over on the side of the road to help a motorist who drove off the road and rolled over at Oakland Church Road and N. Route B.

Boone County Joint Communications said multiple crashes were called out on N. Garth Avenue at Leslie Lane at 8:13 a.m.

Joint communications has sent out about a dozen alerts for wrecks across Columbia and the county before 8:30 a.m.

An earlier traffic alert sent out at 8:04 a.m. said Garth was closed at N. Garth Court for a crash. Columbia police at the scene said five vehicles were involved in two separate crashes. Officers said no people were hurt.

Roads around Columbia were covered in snow. ABC 17 News received several calls Wednesday morning about the weather causing delays in parts around the city.

Semi crash closes Highway 133 outside of Jefferson City

The Missouri State Highway Patrol closed Highway 133 near Westphalia because of a semi-tractor trailer crash.

The highway patrol said in a tweet that the truck was blocking both lanes of traffic on the highway.

It's unclear if anyone was hurt in the wreck.

In a separate tweet, troopers said they had responded to multiple crashes around Mid-Missouri because of slick roads.

The MoDOT Traveler Information Map said many highways across the state were covered in snow around 8 a.m.

Crew said Route T in northwestern Pulaski County was closed because of winter weather conditions Wednesday morning. The map said the closure could last up to four hours.

No injuries in morning rollover crash

No one was hurt in a morning rollover crash on N. Route B and Oakland Church Road Wednesday morning.

An emergency crew at the scene said the driver in the passenger vehicle was not hurt after sliding off the road. The single-vehicle crash was called out around 6:46 a.m.

A Missouri state trooper responded to the wreck. The scene was cleared out around 7 a.m.

Boone County Joint Communications sent out multiple alerts for crashes Wednesday morning. At least two were called out on Highway 63.

The ABC 17 Stormtrack Team called a Weather Alert Day for accumulating snowfall across Mid-Missouri throughout the morning hours.
