COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Tuesday morning wreck on Interstate 70 West closed a lane of traffic.

Boone County Joint Communications tweeted just after 9 a.m. about the crash near the St. Charles Road exit.

The MoDOT Traveler map said the two-vehicle wreck closed the right lane of the interstate in the same area.

Crews said it could take up to half and hour to clear the scene.

It's unclear if any people were hurt in the crash.
