Two-vehicle wreck closes US 63 and Peabody road Monday afternoon

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports two people were injured after a wreck at US 63 and Peabody Road Monday afternoon.

According to the online crash report, a 2004 Honda Accord attempted to cross over US 63 and pulled into the path of a 2006 Buick Ranier and was hit.

According to the crash report, a passenger in the Accord was taken to the hospital by EMS with minor injuries.

The 74-year-old driver of the Ranier was taken by EMS to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

An ABC 17 News crew was on scene and reported the road was closed for close to 30 minutes and reopened around 3:09 p.m.
