One person dead after Camden County wreck Sunday morning

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F is reporting a fatal wreck Sunday morning on Missouri 5, 385 feet south of Missouri 7 junction.

Officials reporting a 2000 Ford F250 was traveling southbound on the highway and failed to negotiate a curve.

The vehicle crossed the center line and hit a delineator post causing the driver, 29-year-old Robert Goin, to overcorrect according to online reports.

When Goin overcorrected, the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and hit an embankment overturning the vehicle.

The Camden County medical examiner pronounced Goin dead at the scene.

This is the third death in November for Troop F and 69th for 2020.
