COOPER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

State troopers say a 21-year-old man was seriously hurt in a single-vehicle crash in Cooper County on Sunday night.

The crash report said Nathan Shepherd, of Kansas City, was driving west on Interstate 70.

Shepherd's car went off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail, troopers said. The car then went down a hill and hit several trees.

The reports said Shepherd was taken by ambulance to a Columbia hospital.

No other people were involved in the crash.
