MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An Eldon man was seriously injured after being ejected from his vehicle following a crash in Miller County Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F said in a crash report 35-year-old Cody Robinett was taken to an area hospital after the single-vehicle wreck southwest of Eldon city limits around 1:10 p.m.

According to the report, Robinett was driving a truck southbound on Route Z when he traveled off the right side of the road and overcorrected.

Troopers said the truck crossed over the road and went off the left side. Robinett's truck then rolled over and he was thrown from the vehicle.

The patrol said Robinett was not wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened. Miller County sheriff's deputies assisted troopers with the crash, the report said.
