MEXICO, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mexico authorities say a driver crashed into two parked cars and a house Thursday afternoon.

Brice Mesko spokesman for the Mexico Public Safety Department said in a release 69-year-old Sharon Schnake was driving in the 900 block of E. Love Street around 1:45 p.m. at the time of the crash.

The release said Schnake lost control of her vehicle and crossed onto the other side of the roadway. Mesko said her car hit two parked cars and some utility equipment.

According to the release, Schanke's car also hit a house but didn't cause any damage.

Mesko said a citizen took Schnake to the hospital and she was later released.
