Underage man arrested in DWI crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Columbia man, 20, is being held in the Boone County Jail on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

The Columbia Police Department responded to University Avenue near College Avenue around 2 a.m. Wednesday. A car rolled onto its roof after crashing with a parked car.

According to Columbia police, officers arrested Nicholas Wiley for allegedly driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash, and being a minor visibly intoxicated.

Nicholas Wiley, 20, is in Boone County Jail after a DWI crash.

As of 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Wiley was being detained in Boone County Jail on a $500 bond.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
