Jefferson City man taken to hospital after pedestrian crash on US 50

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man is in good condition after being involved in a pedestrian crash in Cole County late Sunday night.

The highway patrol crash report shows 63-year-old Terry Cooper was struck on US 50 westbound at 11:24 p.m. It said Cooper was hit while walking in the road.

According to the report, 44-year-old Curtis Brandt crashed into Cooper west of Lisletown Road. Troopers said Cooper was in moderate condition after the crash.

Cooper was taken to University Hospital. A hospital spokesman said he was upgraded to good condition as of Monday morning.
