COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia authorities responded to a crash on Mexico Gravel Road in northeast Columbia that resulted in a downed pole on Friday night.

An ABC 17 News crew reported two Columbia police vehicles showed up to the scene of a single-vehicle crash.

Boone County Joint Communications tweeted at 9:21 p.m. that the crash happened at the intersection of Mexico Gravel and North Wellington Drive.

It's unclear what caused the crash, ABC 17 reached to the Columbia Police Department late Friday night for additional information.
