Missouri woman dies after fatal crash in Benton County

Benton County Crash map

A woman from Blue Springs, Missouri, was killed last night after a crash on U.S. 65, just north of Route MM.

Andralee Taylor, 32, was driving northbound on U.S. 65 when she tried overtaking another vehicle. She then swerved to avoid a head-on collision.

The vehicle struck an embankment, overturned and hit a tree before landing on its roof. The Benton County Coroner and the Benton County Sheriff's Office pronounced Taylor dead at the scene.

Missouri State Highway Patrol says Taylor was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
