QUESTION OF THE DAY: Are rural railroad crossings too dangerous?

Mid-Missouri has been the scene of numerous train accidents over the past few months.

The latest happened over the weekend when a Centralia man died in a collision at a crossing without lights or arms. The biggest took place this summer when an Amtrak train hit a dump truck in Chariton County, injuring dozens and killing several others.
